Hello racers! Its been snowing here for the last few days, and forecast has us getting a few inches more by race start. Perfect conditions for this year's MVP Health Care Frigid Infliction!

A few points:

** So that we know how many to expect, please let me know if your team is planning to attend the nav clinic. **

* It may be wise to have a cellphone with you during the race for assistance, etc if needed.
** If you will have a cellphone with you, please send me the phone number so we'll have it if necessary. ** (We'll ask again at registration.)

* You should have the ability to carry either/both skis and snowshoes with you at any time during the race - if you haven't worked out a system for having one on your back while you use the other, you'll want to ahead of time. (Don't worry, we won't make you have both with for the whole race... probably. ;) If you are bringing more than one pair of footwear, you will have to carry them with you at all times. (ie you won't be able to leave gear behind/pick gear up throughout the race unless we explicitly say otherwise.)

* The nordic center has no more men's equipment available to rent, and women's is almost gone as well. If you haven't rented and need to, be sure you have made the proper arrangements ahead of time!!

* Don't forget to bring $8 per person for USARA, and $10 per site if you're going to be camping.

* Don't forget to bring filled out USARA Membership Application and USARA Waiver from our website - http://www.gmara.org/frigid/docs.html

Last but not least, a photo from our pre-race volunteer dinner at MVP. When you see these folks or any of our other volunteers on the course, be sure to thank them - without them, none of this would be possible!

>
That's all for now - see you tomorrow night!!
-Tim
