With 39 teams, the race is almost full, and we've got some of the best teams in the country competing on a terrific course. This promises to be a great show! Check out this photo taken on the course yesterday:

MVP Health Care has agreed to be the title sponsor of the both the 2008 Frigid Infliction and Bitter Pill Adventure Races. This will allow us to remain the most affordable twelve hour adventure races in the Northeast while increasing the quality of the events we put on. Our thanks go out to MVP for chosing to support a great non-profit like GMARA.

Several additional sponsors have also come onboard! Endurance Aventure in Canada is offering a free race entry to their May event, with lodging included, to one of our winning teams! We'll also have product from Madhouse Munchies and Pop Soda, two great Vermont companies.

More than 35 teams are already registered. If you are considering racing, you should sign up right away, as the event is capped at forty teams.

We're pleased to announce that this year's Frigid Infliction will be a USARA Regional Qualifier! The winning three-person coed team will receive $400 towards attending the USARA Adventure Racing National Championships. Only a select number of races are permitted to be Regional Qualifiers, and we are pleased to have been chosen.

Our race is already over half full! Make sure if you are planning on signing up soon, you do so before our early registration deadline on January 25th. Also, be sure to check out our current team listing.

Congratulations to all the teams that have already registered for the race. Keep in mind that the race will be limited to forty teams, so if you haven't yet, sign up soon. Registration rates increase on January 26th.

Initial race details have been posted. Some exciting news for this year's race - since we had to close registration almost a month early last year, we'll be expanding from 25 to 40 teams!
