Bolton Valley Resort will be offering a group skiing lesson during the day on Friday the 5th, before registration. For $37 you can receive both an after 2 p.m. ticket and a one hour lesson.

You can also contact them for your rental needs. Here is the pricing they sent along:
$20 - Nordic Package: skis, boots and poles
$25 - Backcountry Package: skis, boots and poles
$20 - Snowshoes

If this is something you want to to make sure you call the Nordic Center and make reservations.

We're trying to see if our dinner facility can handle a few more teams. In the meantime, register quickly if you're planning to, but realize that you may be on the waiting list...

Lots of fun updates to announce! First of all, we're pleased to announce the same awesome race-entry prize package we had last year - our top three-person coed team will have their choice of $400 towards either Untamed New England or the USARA National Championships. The second place team will receive the other entry.

And a special 'prize' for all our racers: this years post-race party/dinner will be at the Trattoria la Festa in Stowe. They've won several awards for both their Italian food and their wine selection. Our dinner menu will include mista salad, penne alla napoletana, chicken marsala, roasted garlic potatoes, and tiramisu. There's another veggie thrown in there somewhere too. Probably bread. Some yummy butter. I'm hungry now.

The course is coming together nicely; we hope you don't mind going uphill. A lot. Pretty much nothing is flat. We mean it. We're mean. (Hey, there's downhill in there too!)

Don't forget to make your hotel reservations sooner rather than later. Sleeping in your car the night before the race may not help your performance any! Also, they've nicely announce they will have their continental breakfast served at 4:00 a.m. for anyone staying there for the race.

We've updated the lodging and directions information. We'll post information soon on recommended places to rent gear from if needed. Time to get your team registered!

We're organizing this year's race in a new location. We hope to update the site with all the specifics in the next two weeks. Don't book your room quite yet!

We've scheduled this year's MVP Health Care Frigid Infliction well in advance. We are not settled on registration and race location yet but wanted to give you the opportunity to mark your calendar ahead of time.
